Maria Sarantopoulou, as Deputy Director of Communication & Public Affairs at the Hellenic Development Bank, designs and implements HDB’s communication strategy, strengthening its corporate identity and promoting programmes that support sustainable development and innovation. She has extensive experience in strategic communication and international cooperation, having held senior positions at the European Commission (Brussels), with a focus on political communication and the coordination of European policies for entrepreneurship. She holds an MSc from the LSE, speaks three foreign languages, and has strong expertise in strategically expanding market relations and in linking financial instruments with European and development priorities.
