Associate Professor, Department of Tourism Management University of West Attica

Efthymia Sarantakou is an Associate Professor in the Department of Tourism Management at the University of West Attica, specializing in spatial policies for tourism destinations. She teaches in postgraduate programs at several Greek universities. She holds a PhD in Tourism Spatial Planning (NTUA) and an MSc in Urban Planning. Her research interests focus on spatial tourism planning and destination management. She has served in positions of responsibility in public tourism bodies and has an extensive research record.
