Athanasios Stavrakoudis has served in higher education since 2000, teaching information technology and computing in faculties of economics and business administration. His research interests include computational simulation, time series analysis, historical databases, parallel processing, and intelligent systems. He has contributed to research projects and publications, linking technology with economic applications and supporting innovation. He serves as Director of the Applied Informatics  and Computational Economics Lab.
