Georgos Alexakis was born in Crete.

He is, now, a journalist and member of the Greek Journalists’ Association (ESIEA) and has worked in political, economic and business reporting, collaborating with a wide range of media, both electronic and printed.

He studied History and Archaeology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and he has done his postgraduate studies in economic history at the University of London (School of Slavonic East European Studies – School of Oriental African Studies).

He speaks English and French
